Local Contract Nurse RN - Acute Care - $52-54 per hour

Job Title RN - Acute Care (Local Contract) Location Auburn, New York (assignment at a highly respected hospital in NYC) Overview WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13‑week local contract assignment. The role is 40 hours per week, day shift (4x10: 7 am–5:30 pm). Candidates must have a valid NY RN license and meet the required competencies. Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy. Educate patients on surgical procedures and postoperative expectations. Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments. Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment; interpret and document electronic data. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Minimum 1 year recent experience in Med‑Surg/Tele (within the past year). Preferred: 2 years total RN experience. Active NY RN License. Certified in BLS (AHA) and ACLS. Certified in NIHSS.
