Claims Adjuster Trainee - National General

Job Description National General Insurance is hiring an Auto Telephone Claims Adjuster Trainee. The position is in‑office at our Ontario, California location. Key Responsibilities Investigate and confirm the facts of loss for automobile accidents. Determine coverage, liability, damages, and negotiate claims within authority. Handle basic investigation of auto claims (coverage, liability and damages). Identify customer needs and provide appropriate customer service. Apply understanding of company systems and technology. Assist in subrogation or fraud potential and resolution. Recognize vehicle body parts and property damage. Licensing Requirements Applicants holding an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments during employment. Adjuster applicants with a resident producer license must surrender that license as instructed. Supervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties.
