Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Job Summary Provides critical care nursing to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery or experiencing acute cardiac decompensation. Manages complex hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator support, and post-surgical recovery in a high-acuity intensive care setting. Education & Experience Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required) Minimum 1-2 years of ICU or cardiovascular nursing experience (Preferred) Licenses & Certifications Current RN license in state of practice (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required) Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification (Preferred) Key Responsibilities Monitors and manages patients recovering from cardiac surgery, including chest tubes, drains, and pacing wires. Performs continuous hemodynamic monitoring and titrates vasoactive and inotropic medications. Manages mechanical ventilation and assists with weaning protocols. Recognizes and responds promptly to signs of cardiac tamponade, arrhythmia, or hemodynamic instability. Collaborates with surgeons, intensivists, and other disciplines on post-operative plan of care. Documents assessments, interventions, and patient response in the medical record. #J-18808-Ljbffr Talented Medical Solutions
