Local Contract Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $65-68 per hour

Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract RN Labor and Delivery for a 13- week contract in Bronx, NY. This is a 36- hour per week, 12- hour night shift (7pm-7am) position. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process. Responsibilities Assess and categorize patients into the appropriate level of care Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity Implement timely interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition Identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately Administer medications safely in accordance with the Five Rights and infection-control standards Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care Requirements Minimum 3 years L&D RN experience Active NY RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to meet physical demands (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs) Must meet all pre-employment credentialing requirements (background check, drug screen) Post-partum experience – preferred EEO Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or protected veteran status and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability. #J-18808-Ljbffr WCS Healthcare Partners
