Role Description The Leasing Consultant is a full-time, on-site role located in Sanford, FL. This position is responsible for greeting prospective residents, conducting property tours, and presenting apartment features and community amenities. The Leasing Consultant manages the full leasing and sales process, including handling inquiries, assisting with applications, reviewing lease documents, and ensuring accurate lease and document administration from tour to renewal. Daily responsibilities include providing responsive customer service, addressing resident questions and concerns, and assisting with resident retention activities such as renewals and community events. The role also involves maintaining knowledge of current availability, market trends, and pricing, as well as collaborating with the property management team to meet occupancy and revenue goals. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to manage leases and lease administration, including application processing and accurate documentation. Experience supporting resident retention through renewals, follow‑up communication, and positive resident relationships. Strong communication and customer service skills, with a focus on professional, courteous, and solutions‑oriented interactions. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with property management or leasing software and basic office technology (email, spreadsheets, CRM tools). RealPage/Onesite proficiency is strongly preferred. Must be a problem solver and self‑starter who works well both independently and in a physical and virtual team environment. Prior experience in residential leasing, real estate, or multifamily property management is preferred. Ability to work on‑site in Sanford, FL, including some evenings or weekends as needed.
