What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by greeting employees visitors and vendors at the front desk verifying access permissions and following site-specific policies for a technology-focused office location.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity manage visitor check-in processes issue access credentials as directed and document arrivals departures and/or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents questions and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Answer phones assist with directions and general inquiries and support front desk operations while maintaining awareness of security-related procedures and reporting protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry points confirming identification and/or visitor authorization and reporting concerns according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
