About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer for its insurance solutions business. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading the operating platform, with a focus on data infrastructure and reporting, investment process and organization, client onboarding and servicing, business development support, executive and firmwide reporting, and coordination with corporate functions. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of investment data infrastructure, client reporting, and experience in operating within the insurance and financial services landscape. The COO will be instrumental in driving the business's growth, ensuring the scalability and efficiency of its operations, and maintaining a strong connection with the company's corporate functions. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in business management, investment operations, or a similar capacity. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in building and scaling operating infrastructure, strong financial acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in asset management, insurance, or financial services, and a working knowledge of the insurance and insurance asset management landscape. Key qualifications include experience in producing client-facing and executive-level presentation materials, driving institutional client onboarding, and a strong leadership presence with a focus on talent development. The COO will also be expected to have exceptional communication skills, strong judgment, and the ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution in a dynamic environment.
