Neuroscience Research Lead

My client is growing and is in need of a Lead Researcher to explore neurotransmitters, innovative substances, and large compounds within the CNS field. The perfect candidate will be a specialist in preclinical microdialysis.Duties include:Creating and implementing experiments that utilize microdialysis methods with pharmaceutical agents and genetic modifications.Leading and conducting studies, including surgeries, dosing, and working closely with the bioanalytical team.Working with management to develop study plans and reports, and being able to explain data collection and analysis procedures clearly.Collaborating with external partners on study design and data presentation.Repairing and maintaining experimental equipment.The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.At least 3 years of proven experience in microdialysis.Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Additional experience in histology, pain, sleep, or surgical procedures.Demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational abilities.Preference for experience in drug discovery, management, and programming.This role may vary in seniority based on experience level.
