Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite within a hospital facility, where you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, allowing you to engage with diverse patient cases. Your typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although occasional flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs and the operational demands of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will involve a variety of hands-on activities, including:

• Assisting the registered Physical Therapist with the execution of treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Performing therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and other modalities such as heat or cold therapy as part of prescribed care programs.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, noting any changes in condition or response to treatment, and promptly reporting these findings to your supervising therapist.
• Helping to maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engaging in patient education, providing insights into exercise techniques and the importance of adherence to prescribed programs.
• Participating in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and align treatment strategies across disciplines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will primarily be on adult orthopedic patients and those experiencing chronic pain. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits
