About the Position

License: NC Licensure required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, RRT or CRT required Must-Have: - Two years of Respiratory Therapy experience in a pediatric unit. - Experience with IPPV/NIPPV ventilators. - Background in ED, PICU, Peds CVICU, Peds PCU, General Medical Floors. Description: We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU and pediatric care. The therapist will provide respiratory care for all pediatric patients. This is a children's hospital environment. The role requires working with neonates and pediatric patients. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience specifically in pediatric assignments. Experience in intensive care units is preferred, and candidates should specify the level of their experience. The department uses EPIC for electronic medical records, and candidates should be prepared to test out for quicker onboarding. Position is not subject to floating to other facilities due to specialty needs. There will be a weekend rotation every other weekend, with holiday expectations of working 75% of holidays. The position allows for up to six days off, excluding holidays, which must be added to the end of the contract if not met.
