Position Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Night Shift position providing comprehensive care in Labor & Delivery. The role requires a strong background in maternal and newborn care, with a focus on ensuring the health and safety of both mothers and infants during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.

Scheduled Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating Requirement: Float only within designated units, no floating to medical/surgical units

Qualifications

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years in Labor & Delivery
Accepted Certifications: BLS, NRP, with a valid NH license or compact license
Epic experience is mandatory
Previous charge experience is preferred
Experience in community hospitals, LTAC, and Trauma Level I & II care is preferred

Required Skills

Administration of blood and blood products
Neonatal resuscitation
Labor and Delivery management including vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Care for high-risk deliveries and antepartum patients
Postpartum care and education for new parents
Use of EFM and IUPC placement and calibration
Understanding and management of maternal and neonatal complications

Unit Details

The unit is designed to support interdisciplinary care, providing access to resources such as IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. The Birth Place is equipped with in-unit operating rooms for cesarean sections and other gynecological procedures, allowing for comprehensive maternal and newborn care.
