Environmental Health Safety Summer Intern

Johnson & Johnson

Johnson & Johnson seeks an Environmental Health Safety Summer Intern for its Cincinnati manufacturing facility. The intern will support radiation protection, workplace safety compliance, and EHS program management across regulatory frameworks including NRC, OSHA, and EPA standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct workplace inspections and manage radioactive materials, waste, and instrument calibration
Maintain documentation, records, and reports for regulatory compliance and audits
Identify hazards, document risks, and support incident investigations and corrective actions
Assist with chemical spill response and medical emergency response activities
Support EHS program reviews, compliance audits, and data collection for regulatory inspections

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an academic program throughout internship period
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Authorized to work in US without sponsorship requirements
Available for 40 hours per week
Knowledge of environmental health and safety principles or related field
