Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is recruiting a Maintenance & Manufacturing Technician for our client in Johnson City, NY. We are seeking a hardworking, motivated individual for a combined maintenance and manufacturing position. This role is for someone who is reliable and ready to handle everything from equipment upkeep to hands-on production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing & Fabrication: Perform basic operations including drilling, shearing, and deburring.
• Maintenance: Handle routine equipment/machinery maintenance and general facility upkeep (including shop cleaning).
• Facility Repairs: Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Logistics & Inventory: Responsible for packaging, part marking, inventory tracking, and safe forklift operation.

Requirements

• Mechanical Aptitude: Proficient with common hand and power tools.
• Physical Workload: Ability to handle the physical demands of a shop environment.
• Technical Basics: Solid basic math skills; computer skills are a plus.
• Experience: 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred, but we will provide on-the-job training for specific techniques.
• Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred).

The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $16 - $20 per hour though a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience. Thank you for your interest in our position!
