Position Summary McCarthy Building Companies is looking for skilled Laborers for an exciting project in Atlanta, GA. The Laborer supports completion of projects by assisting carpenters, and other trade professionals. Together, we can build great things Responsibilities Assist with project logistics (clean up, material storage, water pumping etc.) Support project team in construction and installation of safety measures Actively participate in Task Hazard Analysis (THA) Work in an organized manner Complete certification courses (spotter, flagger, OSHA 10, fire watch etc.) Utilize common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, water pump, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.) Assist other trades when necessary Qualifications 1 year of experience as a laborer in commercial construction projects Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools Understand construction terminology Proven commitment to Safety Able to work night shifts when needed Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site Ability to work independently and follow instructions Must be self-motivated and can work well with others Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency Abilityto performheavy lifting/pushing/pulling of materialweighing 50 pounds Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces Minimum age 18+ Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization McCarthy is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
