Applying CPT-4 and HCPCS codes to medical records for cardiovascular and interventional radiology departments, the full-time Certified Cardiovascular Coder will ensure coding accuracy, manage surgical logs, and conduct charge capture audits in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Coding surgical procedures and verifying supplies used during procedures Conducting charge capture audits to ensure compliance and identify discrepancies Collaborating with various departments to resolve coding and billing issues Required qualifications High School Diploma 4-6 years of relevant experience Required Certification: CCS, CIRCC, COC, CPC, or equivalent Advanced knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding and billing processes Proficiency in Excel, including V-Lookups and pivot tables
