CPC-A Certified Coding Assistant

To support the coding department, the remote Coding Administrative Assistant - RCM will obtain medical records documentation from partner facilities, run detailed reports for KPI monitoring, and communicate with external facility staff while adhering to departmental standards. Key responsibilities Access and obtain required medical records using various EMR systems and communication methods Prepare reports for aging and KPI for coding leadership and assist with team playbooks Monitor clinician responses to documentation deficiencies and communicate with coding quality teams Required qualifications CPC-A certification from AAPC or equivalent coding credential High school diploma or equivalent Basic understanding of coding guidelines with minimal coding experience Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
