About the Role:

As our Director of Dining (Certified Dietary Manager), you'll be responsible for managing the operation of our Dietary Department, including staffing, food ordering, and preparation, food delivery, and clean-up. You'll collaborate with our facility administration and Healthcare Services Group, Inc. to ensure that our dietary services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the operation of the Dietary Department, including staffing, food ordering, and preparation, food delivery, and clean-up in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, resident care plans, and appropriate regulations.

• Interview, hire, and orient dietary staff for the dietary department.

• Maintain all cost records

• Purchase food and supplies according to the facility menu and within the budgetary guidelines

• Ensure that sanitation and safety standards are maintained above levels that are acceptable according to State and Federal regulations.

• Ensure food is prepared by methods that conserve nutritive value, is palatable and attractive to residents, and of a quality that is acceptable to the resident.

• Supervise the food preparation and service for resident meals according to established menus and standardized recipes.

• Develop, write, and schedule all dietary employees' work schedules.

• Manage daily payroll, scheduling, and budgeting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 0 years of experience in a dietary management role

• Certification as a Dietary Manager (CDM) or willingness to obtain

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
