Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Cardiology

As a Locum Cardiology Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions, managing patient care plans, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team. Your expertise is crucial in enhancing our service quality and ensuring our patients receive outstanding cardiac care. 

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
• Interpret diagnostic tests and formulate treatment plans
• Provide patient education on cardiac health and wellness
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
• Participate in patient follow-up and ongoing management
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in cardiology
• Document patient evaluations and care plans accurately in medical records
• Assist in the training and mentoring of medical staff

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Cardiology
• Associate-level experience in a clinical cardiology setting
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Knowledge of electronic health records and patient management systems
• Commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:30a-4:30p)

Call Requirement: 24-hour call, 1 week per month

Required Procedures: Read echo, hospital consults required, stress testing, nuclear, carotid, and EKGs

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
