About the Position

Job Title: ICU Float RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 4 years of experience required in ICU License: California RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Charge experience preferred Description: The ICU Float RN is responsible for providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients. This position requires floating to various ICU campuses and step-down units as needed. The ICU Float RN will be notified 2 hours prior to their start time regarding the reporting location for each shift. Weekend rotation is required, with no on-call duties. The ideal candidate must have effective communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in managing a variety of critical care scenarios is essential. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in various skills necessary for critical care nursing. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. All applicants must provide current certifications and valid references. This position may involve additional responsibilities as dictated by patient care needs.
