Job Overview A law firm seeks an Energy Associate in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years of relevant large law firm transactional experience, with a focus on energy development and/or energy project finance. Duties Work within the Corporate Practice Group on energy-related transactions. Draft energy development agreements and manage tax equity financing structures. Collaborate with team members to support client needs and project goals. Requirements 1 to 4 years of relevant transactional experience in a large law firm. Experience in energy development and/or project finance preferred. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Excellent academic credentials. Education Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Member of the District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, New York, North Carolina, or Texas bars, depending on office location. Skills Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex agreements. Ability to analyze and interpret legal documents and regulations. Benefits Annual discretionary bonus. Paid time off.
