Qualifications At least 3 years of Robot/CNC machine operation experience. Experience in laser systems, laser welding, laser metal deposition is desirable. Knowledge of CAM software desirable. Programming experience a definite advantage. Basic skills in computer, such as using MS word, Excel etc. High school graduation is a must, an Associate’s degree is a definite advantage. Experience in any other machining such as grinding, milling etc is an advantage. Job responsibilities Operation of proprietary Direct Metal Deposition (DMD) Machines. Tool path editing using CAM software as needed. Metallographic preparation of samples. Assisting in other machining operations, such as surface grinding, drilling, welding, if required. Problem solving unique solutions for the advancement of a cutting-edge technology.
