Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) Internship opportunities are designed to promote both career development and functional expertise. As an intern, you'll dive into projects, providing essential support to our departments while honing your skills and expertise.

This internship transcends the ordinary. Spanning six (6) months with potential extensions contingent upon performance, it strikes an ideal balance between remote and in-office engagement. With designated office attendance three (3) days a week, you'll forge connections with peers, assimilate into our corporate culture, and propel your career to new heights.

Tasks

Roles & responsibilities

• Create purchase orders, generate, and execute contractual agreements ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain training on the workflow process and coordinate with all supported departments.
• Update vendor audit files and the contracts database regularly.
• Proactively notify business owners of impending contract expirations.
• Ensure prior approvals from Finance, Accounting, Executive Management, and supporting departments.
• Support and advocate for strategic and tactical process improvement activities and initiatives within the Center of Excellence (CoE).

Qualifications

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Recent graduate or juniors/seniors currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Interest in procurement purchasing.
• Previous experience in a corporate environment is a plus

Preferred skills include:

• Strong communication (oral and written), relationship management, and consultative selling skills.
• Self-motivated with advanced problem-solving skills
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, including Executive Management.
• Strong PC literacy, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) is required
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional projects and team collaboration.
• Exposure to commercial contract terms and conditions in a corporate setting.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet immediate business area needs and timelines.

Physical requirements

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
