Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency to meet customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation and food safety standards
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
- Contribute to menu development and innovation
- Maintain a positive, professional work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
