We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Weld Shop. This position specifically is located in Norfolk, Virginia. We are looking for 4 Welders J1 - J4. The hours are 0600 to 1445 with a 45 min lunch. Shift: ALL Security Clearance: No Clearance

Guidelines for Structure Welder Journeyperson 4 (Welder) Should have knowledge of welding on different types of base metals (HY-80 & HY-100). Know the different wire and gas combinations. Should be proficient in using SMAW, GMAW and FCAW welding process. Quality of weld should be acceptable for N.D.T. should be able to weld steel, aluminum, copper nickel, stainless steel. Should be able to read weld gauges. Should be able to use hand tools. Some guidance from supervision will be needed. Must know standard item 1689 and the guidelines of 5 S.
