Planet Fitness - Daytime Member Services Representative - Full Time - South Nashville

Location: Nashville (South Nashville), TN 1021 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37217 Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour Member Services Representative We are looking for a Member Services Representative to join our team at Taymax Group, a multi‑unit franchisee of Planet Fitness. The role focuses on creating a positive member experience by providing superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. Responsibilities Greet members, prospective members, and guests with exceptional customer service. Handle all front‑desk related activities, including answering phones courteously, assisting callers with various questions, checking members into the system, taking prospective members on tours, and signing up new members while calculating rates and monthly payments. Assist the Club Manager with drawer reconciliation as needed. Facilitate updates to member accounts. Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Club Manager when required. Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club by completing daily cleaning tasks within the first hour of the shift, checking the priority cleaning list, performing walk‑around and bathroom checks, and assisting with special cleaning projects as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Customer service background preferred. Basic computer proficiency. Dependable and punctual. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Positive, upbeat attitude with a passion for fitness and health. Exceptional customer service skills, capable of interacting positively and professionally with members and coworkers and exceeding member expectations. Strong listening skills, empathy, and problem‑solving ability. Demonstrates diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language. Physical Demands Continual standing and walking during shift. Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.
