Part-Time MRI Technologist

Schedule

This is a part-time position covering weekends (primarily Saturday) with a consistent schedule of 22.5 hours per week. The work week includes Monday, Friday, and Saturday shifts.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will perform a variety of MRI imaging procedures utilizing Siemens Vida, Sola, and Philips 3T scanners. This role requires a thorough understanding of the imaging process and proficiency in using the necessary software and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI imaging procedures for outpatient services.
• Utilize Siemens and Philips equipment for accurate imaging results.
• Maintain knowledge of EMR and PACS systems, specifically EPIC radiant and VuePACS.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and licensing requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• ARRT MRI certification and New York State Radiologic License required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience with Siemens, Philips, and Toshiba imaging equipment is essential.
