Electronics Test Technician

Electrical Tester IIn this job you will be performing repetitive electrical testing preparation and testing tasks of basic complexity.As an Electrical Tester I you will:Visually inspect product prior to testing to detect conformance to standardsInspect testing equipment and test booth/cage for proper operationPrepare product for test by safely making the connections required for test being performedSeparate non-conforming partsDocument actions by completing production and quality formsMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsConserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsContribute to team effort by training others in performance of testing tasks as neededInspect all work and insure it meets requirements prior to passing it on to the next operationWe are looking for someone who:Has a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill developmentIdeally has 0-1 year experience working in a manufacturing environmentIs able to safely use small hand and power toolsIs able to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of MaterialHas basic computer skillsIs able to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in EnglishThe physical demands of the job are:Work is classified as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept of Labor's Dictionary of Occupational TitlesFrequencies - Occasional (1-33%); Frequent (34-66%); Continuous (67-100%)Lifting Demands: Lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis floor to waist with assistanceLift up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis floor to waistCarry up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis up to 25 feetPush/Pull up to 40 pounds on a frequent basisPush/Pull more than 40 pounds on an occasional basis with assistancePostural Demands: Standing – continuousWalking – continuousBending/stooping – frequentSquatting/kneeling – frequentLifting – frequentMiscellaneous Demands: Gripping, manipulation, fingering – continuousVariable hand/power tool use – frequentTwo-person tasks using assistive devices for lifting, pulling and pushing including engine stands hand trucks, pallet jacks, and hoistsWhat we offer you:Pay Range is typically between $20 - $23 per hour.
