Child Development Specialist San Diego Community College District – District Wide Position Summary Under the direction of the instructors assigned to a Child Development Center, the Child Development Specialist assists in directing and implementing a daily child learning program involving cognitive, language, social-emotional, and physical development, and participates in planning and parent activities as assigned. Responsibilities Assist in directing and implementing daily child learning program. Participate in planning and parent activities as assigned. Required Qualifications High school graduation. Coursework and experience sufficient to obtain the Children’s Center Permit. At least one year of experience working with preschool children in a Child Development Program environment. Desired Qualifications Licenses, certificates, or credentials as required for the specific position (varies). Additional Requirements Certificate of Tuberculosis Exam. Live Scan fingerprint clearance prior to employment. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Salary and Benefits Hourly pay rate is available in the job posting. How to Apply Apply at .
