Culinary Supervisor

The Culinary Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, supporting culinary team members, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and assisting with inventory and labor management. This position works closely with chefs, cooks, and operations leadership to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support kitchen staff during event and daily operations.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to company standards.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist with staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Monitor product quality, portion control, and waste reduction.
• Support inventory management, ordering, and receiving processes.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with culinary and front-of-house leadership teams.

Qualifications:

• Previous culinary or kitchen leadership experience required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Information

This is a part-time, event-based role based at Pechanga Arena San Diego.

Compensation

This position's compensation is $23.44 per hour depending on experience
