Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including neuro-focused treatment for strokes and seizures.
• Administer and titrate drips such as Heparin, Nitro, and Diltiazem with precision.
• Manage tracheostomy and ventilator care with a focus on patient stability.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure accurate charting using the Cerner system for all patient interactions.
• Float to sister units as required while maintaining care quality standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license; experience in acute care settings preferred.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; additional certifications a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in MS, PCU, or ICU settings.
• Proficiency in administering and managing patient ventilator support.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday requirement.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
