Senior Project Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC What You’ll Do Relate Search is partnering with a well-established construction organization in search of a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects. This role serves as a key leader responsible for driving project execution, managing client relationships, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders while helping shape project strategy and operational performance. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives. Partner with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes and maintain strong working relationships. Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and financial targets. Oversee contract administration, procurement activities, subcontractor coordination, and resource allocation to optimize project execution. Champion safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across all phases of project delivery. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive project management experience within commercial and industrial construction environments. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects on schedule and within budget. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and project management best practices. Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms. Opportunity to lead complex, high-profile commercial and industrial construction projects.
