Senior Project Manager - ADMS

Overview Working closely with the end Customer, vendors, and project personnel, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation and delivery of an Advanced Distribution Management System within our client’s territory. The Senior Project Manager will be an essential part of our team to grow the consulting practice in the Operational Technology and Real-Time Systems domain and should have experience deploying GE ADMS systems. Responsibilities Deliver project(s) to completion. Own the scope, cost, schedule, and risks for the project and manage multiple tracks, business and technical resources, consultants and vendors contracted to deliver solutions. Develop contractual Statement of Works with Client and Suppliers articulating precise assumptions and limits of responsibilities. Strategize and implement methodology to increase project margins. Assign work, monitor, and measure the team’s outputs, escalating resource gaps or shortfalls of individuals. Serve as TRC’s representative, ensuring that the Client and TRC's interests are well aligned for project success. Manage the Vendors, ensuring contractual, operational and relationship aspects are well aligned for success. Champion a positive project work environment and lead the team to accomplish all objectives on time and on budget. Develop workflow plans to manage the project from initial request through systems analysis, technical design, implementation, procurement, testing, turnover to production and client migration. Plan, prepare, and track project schedules and budgets to assure controlled completion of each project step. Prepare and maintain a risk assessment and mitigation action plan. Maintain resource forecasts to assure schedule compliance and desired results. Update the company and external stakeholders on project progress, changes from original plans, and existing or emerging risks. Lead core team meetings and present project progress at Steering Committee level with participation of senior executives from TRC or the Client. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience in the utility domain. Previous experience leading and managing large-scale, multifaceted enterprise-wide operational technology projects in an electric or gas utility environment. Full knowledge and proficiency in all aspects of the project management Body of Knowledge. Excellent organizational, decision‑making and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills ranging from addressing C‑Level to multiple technical teams. Ability to self‑direct and work independently as well as in a team environment. Excellent team‑building and motivational skills. Excellent budgeting and financial skills. Proficiency with MS‑Project and with MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Strong judgement, leadership, organization, and communication skills. Ability to travel up to 50% or on an as‑needed basis to the client location. Preferred Skills And Experience Previous experience implementing large ADMS programs, preferably on the technology vendor side. PMP Certification. Compensation Salary range: USD $165,194.00 – USD $180,003.20 per year. Compensation varies based on experience, education, skill level, geographic location, and other factors. Employee may be eligible to participate in the company’s annual discretionary bonus program contingent on company, business segment, and individual performance.
