Your future role at a glance Location: Remote Facility: Jacksonville - Offsite - Must live within 50 miles. Department: Billing Under Arrangement Schedule: Day shift | Full-time Salary: $99,863.85 - $135,109.91 per year How you'll make an impact in this role Lead & Empower Teams: Provide daily operational guidance while cultivating a culture of growth through strategic hiring, hands-on onboarding, continuous education, performance evaluations, and active team mentorship. Master Financial & Operational Analytics: Produce and analyze key performance reports tracking cash collections, unbilled accounts, denial trends, contract yields, and predictive models to bench performance and drive smart financial decisions. Manage Audits & Valuation: Oversee quarterly auditor revenue valuation reviews and craft strategic recommendations for senior management to ensure accurate financial reporting and revenue retention. Manage Budgets & Project Timelines: Drive departmental fiscal health by building, monitoring, and adhering to operational budgets while delivering strategic projects on time and within scope. Drive Vendor Partnerships & Negotiations: Manage external consultant relationships, contract negotiations, and third-party billing agencies to optimize external support and revenue capture. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credentialed from the American Health Information ManagementAssociation (AHIMA) preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred. What additional requirements you'll need Advanced revenue cycle and system expertise with a proven track record leading end-to-end revenue cycle operations within a hospital or large health system environment.
