Developmental QDDP Track-Training Role
Position Summary
The Clinical Support Specialist provides overflow paperwork support, documentation assistance, EHR support, workflow assistance, and operational support while participating in a structured developmental pathway toward becoming a QDDP.
This role supports operational stability while allowing gradual clinical skill development through mentorship, training, and supervised caseload responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
Clinical Support Responsibilities
Assist with overflow paperwork
Support signature packet completion
Assist with EHR documentation support
Prepare provider paperwork
Support note report processes
Assist with workflow organization
Operational Support Responsibilities
Support documentation tracking
Assist with workflow coordination
Support operational efficiency
Assist QDDPs with paperwork completion
Developmental Responsibilities
Participate in QDDP training
Shadow experienced QDDPs
Attend meetings for training purposes
Complete supervised documentation assignments
Develop workflow management skills
Caseload Responsibilities
Maintain a small, supervised caseload
Assist with overflow support assignments
Development Pathway
Clinical Support Specialist I → Clinical Support Specialist II → Transitional QDDP → Full QDDP
Recommended Caseload Range
Small supervised caseload only during developmental stages.
