Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members, following recipes and ensuring our rotisserie chicken is always warm and ready. We also wrap, label, and store merchandise to help members have the freshest items to take home. You will juggle several tasks while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help families have a great meal. What you will do Be a Team Member: maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate across teams, educate other associates, communicate effectively, and stay flexible to business needs. Be an Expert: prepare food according to item specifications, plan future and mass productions, prepare for seasonality, adhere to food safety standards, maintain and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate product and layout execution. Be a Techie: use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, engage peers, and make business decisions related to production, training, and quality. Be an Owner: drive area performance, manage exposure and expectations, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, guide peers, and assist customers. Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department, model high quality service, execute basics at the highest level, and exhibit energy and passion. Key Responsibilities Wrap, label, and store merchandise to maintain freshness. Clean and sanitize areas, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food. Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food. Maintain sales floor per company policies: handle claims and returns, zone the area, organize merchandise, identify shrink and damages. Assist members with bakery and other product orders. Juggle multiple tasks efficiently while keeping member satisfaction high. Adapt quickly to changing work scenarios. Minimum Qualifications 18 years of age or older Ability to follow recipes and food preparation standards. Good interpersonal skills and strong customer‑service orientation. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, lifting up to 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Food Service Handler Certification (Food Safety). Compensation and Benefits Hourly wage: $19.00–$27.00 per hour (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage at the job location).
