Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create personalized therapy approaches to help them reach their functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and day-to-day activities
• Engage in Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work seamlessly with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive, holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families on therapy methods to ensure continued progress outside of therapy
• Track and Adjust Treatment Outcomes: Monitor clinical progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their recovery path

Education Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouraged ongoing education and post-graduate certifications for continuous learning

Licensure Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification mandated
