Job Title: Diagnostic X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day
Hours per Shift: 9 Hours (08:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 1 Year Experience License: Must have a valid State License prior to start date Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma Experience Description:
The position is for a Diagnostic X-Ray Tech working in a Level 1 trauma center.
The schedule will be Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 17:30.
There must be flexibility to work other days if needed.
The traveler will primarily work in the Emergency Room.
Certifications needed include BLS and ARRT.
Licensing must be in hand before the start date, but holders of pending licenses may be considered.
Travelers must have at least one year of experience with extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, and experience in emergency room, operating room, level 1 trauma, and surgery/C-Arm. The equipment used includes GE and Siemens.
This facility supports over 30 operating rooms and six intensive care units, with a 70+ bed emergency room and around 700 inpatient beds.
First-time travelers are accepted.
If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, they will be expected to make up the day.
If unable to make up during the pay period, the shift will be added at the end of the contract.
Floating is required for all travelers within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
Two supervisor references are required for candidacy.
Additional requirements include a commitment to work two out of three major holidays.
Travel experience is preferred, and completion of required skills is essential for success in this role.
