Oak Grove Technologies, LLC, a dynamic and fast-growing federal contractor, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Issue Clerk to support operations at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the laundry services, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing items.
• Maintain inventory records of all clothing items, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Receive requests for clothing items and issue them to employees following established procedures.
• Ensure that all issued clothing items are properly recorded and accounted for.
• Inspect returned clothing items for damages, wear and tear, and cleanliness, and take appropriate actions such as repair, replacement, or laundering.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, storage spaces, and workstations.
• Follow established safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all staff and students, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated on the organization's policies, procedures, and clothing requirements to effectively perform the job responsibilities.

• Detail-oriented with excellent attention to accuracy and cleanliness.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to laundry operations.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire. In accordance with federal requirements, male applicants must be registered with the Selective Service System or provide proof of exemption.
