Surg Tech CVOR - Travel Job

Join our team at Jackson HealthPros as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you’ll function as a member of a cardiac team, expertly assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You’ll ensure the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years‘ experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA or NCCT
• North Dakota UAP
• Must be able to first scrub
• Open heart, CABG, and valve experience

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0645-1515
• Shift Days: Monday-Friday
• Start time may be 0600 for open heart case prep with day-before notice
• Weeknight call: 3-4 times per week, 1515-0645
• Weekend call: every other to every third weekend, Friday 1515 to Monday 0645
• Rotating holiday call required
• Call response time: 15 minutes
• May cross train into general OR or other OR specialties when CV volumes are low
• Must be willing to float as a 1:1 sitter when case volume is low
• Charting system: EPIC
