Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

$2080.80/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Endoscopy/GI Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a busy acute care facility. The RN will provide specialized patient care in the endoscopy and gastrointestinal departments, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer pre-procedure preparations and post-procedure care for GI and endoscopy patients.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any complications or emergencies.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
  
  
• 
  Assist with maintaining sterile environments and managing endoscopy equipment.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and post-care instructions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of registered nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate prior experience in endoscopy, gastroenterology, or surgical units.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications preferred.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong clinical skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• 
  Show excellent communication and patient care skills.
