We are looking for a PRN Radiology Technologist II – Acute to join our remarkable acute care team. What You’ll Do Perform high‑quality diagnostic radiographic exams in an acute care setting. Work closely with physicians to deliver critical patient care. Maintain patient safety and comfort with professionalism and empathy. What We’re Looking For Education: Graduate of an ARRT‑approved radiography program. Certification required within 6 months of hire post‑graduation from an accredited program. 2‑Year Associate’s Degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology preferred. Licensure/Certification: ARRT certification in Radiography – RT(R), required. Applicable state licensure, required. Post‑graduates must pass their ARRT registry within 6 months of completing the program, required. Additional Skills: Applies principles of ALARA to minimize radiation exposure to patient, self, and others. Demonstrates current knowledge of federal and state radiation safety laws. Properly utilizes personnel monitoring devices. Ensures proper equipment performance and schedules maintenance for emergent needs. Properly operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment. Independently performs radiographic and non‑interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intra‑operative and mobile procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. Assists a licensed practitioner in the performance of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including all intra‑operative and mobile procedures such as ERCPs, bronchoscopy, mini‑C‑arms, post‑reductions.
