About the Role:
Integrity Care Solution Inc is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Maplewood, MN. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care and support. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
- Transport and accompany clients to medical appointments, community activities, and errands
- Administer medications and follow health care protocols as directed
- Foster independence and skill-building through positive reinforcement and person-centered care
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, or in a human services role preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check per Minnesota DHS requirements
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
- Genuine commitment to person-centered, compassionate care
