Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Cardiovascular Surgical Technologists!

Job Description:

- Position: CVOR CST
- Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: 4 ten-hour shifts per week
- Schedule: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

- Unit Type:
- Location: Main Hospital, 1st Floor
- Department Number: 701
- Patient Ratios: 1:1

- Call Requirements:
- On call 1 weeknight per week
- One weekend per month (weekends are part of the on-call rotation)

- Team Composition:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 Sitters
- Night Shift: To be determined

- Essential Equipment Used:
- Surgical instruments, Bovie cautery
- EVH video tower, laparoscopic video tower
- Surgical tourniquet, IABP console
- Impella console, cryo system
- Patient warming/cooling system

- EMR System: Meditech

- Candidate Must Have:
- Recent CVOR CST experience

- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with the following procedures:
- CABG, Aortic/Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement
- AAA Endovascular & Open, AV Fistula creation/revision/thrombectomy
- HDC, CAPD, BBT, TAVR, TMVR, MitraClip

- Best Personality Fit:
- Mature, teamwork-oriented, and flexible with scheduling
- Willingness to help others and maintain a drama-free environment
- Good attendance and punctuality
