You must live in Illinois and be able to travel throughout Cook County to provide in-person services to youth and families in homes and community settings. Through individualized, community-based services, we strengthen family systems and promote long-term stability. We are expanding our Enhanced Clinical Community Support (ECCS) Program and are hiring Community Clinicians to join this highly collaborative, mission-driven team. For a limited time, we are offering a $3,000 signing bonus. About The ECCS Program The Enhanced Clinical Community Support (ECCS) Program provides immediate, short-term, intensive clinical services to stabilize youth in DCFS care following inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. Services are delivered in the home and community and focus on strengthening caregiver capacity, improving system coordination, and reducing the risk of placement disruption. About The Role The Community Clinician is a unique, advanced clinical role that blends direct clinical intervention, caregiver coaching, consultation, and advocacy. Clinicians partner closely with caregivers, caseworkers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed support for youth. What You'll Do Provide direct clinical support and consultation to caregivers, caseworkers, and multidisciplinary teams for a caseload of 7-10 youth Conduct weekly in-person caregiver support sessions focused on trauma-informed psychoeducation and therapeutic parenting strategies Organize and facilitate monthly clinical team meetings with youth, caregivers, caseworkers, and other involved providers Maintain consistent communication with assigned casework agencies and collateral partners to identify youth needs, family needs, and system barriers Collaborate with child and family teams to develop, review, and update individualized service plans Utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based clinical models, including ARC, SPACE, SMART, Theraplay, or other appropriate interventions Provide ongoing clinical consultation to caregivers and professionals supporting the youth Support families with clinical case management, including referrals for therapy, psychiatry, and other services Advocate for youth and family needs in DCFS clinical staffings, CFTMs, school meetings, and other systems spaces Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, CANS 2.0, and discharge summaries Consult regularly with supervisors and team members to ensure youth safety, permanency, and well-being Travel throughout Cook County for in-person sessions with families Schedule Flexible full-time schedule Evening availability required (e.g., '10:00am-6:00pm' or '11:00am-7:00pm') Hybrid role with a combination of community-based and remote work What You Need Master's degree in Social Work or a related social service field LCSW or LCPC preferred (not required) Experience working with youth involved in child welfare and/or complex trauma Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills Comfort using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and video conferencing platforms Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel throughout Cook County What It's Like To Work Here Lead with empathy and non-judgment Practice self-awareness Name power imbalances and structural limitations Center youth, caregiver, and team voice and choice Demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness Balance healthy boundaries with authentic relationships Stay connected to purpose Prioritize self-care Commit to critical thinking and curiosity Celebrate strengths and successes Why You'll Love This Role $3,000 signing bonus Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits Generous paid time off and sick leave to support rest, balance, and well-being Flexible, hybrid work structure Paid training and ongoing professional development Specialized clinical training in ARC, SMART, Theraplay, trauma, and attachment Strong supervision and collaborative team culture Meaningful, systems-level impact on youth and families Equal Employment Opportunity Kaleidoscope Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Inclusive/Affirmative Action employer.
