Job Description As a Armed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Waxahachie, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur11:00 AM - 11:30 PMFri11:00 AM - 11:30 PMSat11:00 AM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site leadership and/or local authorities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter zones, as permitted by site requirements. Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional interaction. Assist with access control, crowd management, and/or de‑escalation of customer or visitor issues while maintaining professionalism and following post orders for an armed assignment. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
