About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales for Industrial Sales in the Midwest. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the industrial sales strategy, with a focus on achieving aggressive revenue targets, expanding market share, and developing a high-performing sales organization. This role requires a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in selling complex technology or network solutions to industrial sectors, and expertise in long-cycle enterprise sales and government contracting. The VP of Sales will also be tasked with fostering industry partnerships, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring the sales team is aligned with corporate goals. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Sales include setting and executing the industrial sales strategy, leading all aspects of the sales cycle for major opportunities, and monitoring and adapting strategies to market and competitive changes. The role demands a leader with strong negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills, who can foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), at least 12 years of B2B sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in executive sales leadership, and a proven ability to influence and represent the company at industry events. Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools is essential, and familiarity with industrial IoT and related technologies, as well as experience in private network sales, is a plus.
