Job Description As an Applebee’s Host/Server Assistant, you will greet guests at the door, offer a warm welcome and assist servers in providing exceptional guest service. You will maintain the overall flow of the restaurant and work closely with all staff to ensure a smooth dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests with a warm welcome and guide them to their tables Assist servers with guest service, including taking orders, refilling beverages and ensuring timely delivery Manage the flow of customers, seating new guests and handling reservations Support the front‑of‑house team in maintaining a clean and organized dining area Follow all food‑service safety and sanitation procedures Qualifications Minimum age 18 years Effective communication skills with guests and colleagues Ability to work at high speed while maintaining a friendly attitude Commitment to teamwork and exceptional service Physical ability to stand, move, lift up to 25 pounds, and work for up to four hours per shift Compensation and Benefits Competitive wages ranging from $15.50 to $20 per hour plus tips.
