Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Tallahassee, Florida. The RN is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality patient care by following the nursing care plan, supervising licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants, and ensuring patient safety. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Tallahassee, Florida
• Specialty: PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification must be obtained prior to the first shift. A minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is required. Previous experience in a similar facility setting is highly desired.
• Additional Information: Embraces the organizations core values of delivering quality care, promoting safety, and teamwork. Performs a comprehensive nursing assessment within 8 hours of admission. Documents accurately and timely all patient assessments, interventions, and responses. Participates in patient rehabilitation and discharge planning. Provides direction, supervision, and mentorship to ancillary staff. Maintains safety standards and participates in team building activities. Initiates professional development through continuing education.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
