Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) Located in a large hospital, this unit provides care for patients with a variety of surgical and medical conditions, including colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, general, orthopedic surgeries, as well as diabetes, heart disease, COPD, kidney, and gastrointestinal issues. The role involves working within a fast-paced environment, supporting patient care needs in a diverse and dynamic setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, every other weekend, with a start date of 10/12/2026 and end date of 01/11/2027.
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) required.
• Education / Experience: Basic medical/surgical relevant and current experience; minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
• Location Requirements: None specified.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure to submit for licensure; must have at least 2 years of clinical experience in medical-surgical settings.

• Additional Information: The unit operates with patient-to-nurse ratios varying by patient needs, with some float shift requirements across medical/surgical pods.
