Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with pain conditions to identify underlying issues.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, physical therapy recommendations, interventional procedures, or alternative therapies.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed based on their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals such as physical therapists, psychologists, and pain specialists to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients about pain management strategies and empower them through knowledge of their conditions and treatment options.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will involve working with a diverse clientele, ranging from individuals with chronic pain, post-operative pain, to conditions stemming from injuries and other medical issues. You will specifically focus on underserved populations who face barriers to accessing quality healthcare, contributing to improved health equity and support in our community.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Active nursing license in the state of Florida.
• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience, ideally in pain management, community health, or related fields.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of patients from varying backgrounds.
• A commitment to social justice, health equity, and advocacy for underserved communities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pain management and a sound understanding of pain assessment and treatment methodologies.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care and treatment plans.
• Previous involvement in pain management research or community healthcare initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
